I have had Chinese food in many countries and their food was the absolutely worst. Even the fried rice had a bad taste to it. My husband will eat most anything and even he didn't like it. Don't waste your money folks!

not exactly very inexpensive, but a place that I would definitely recommend for lots of choices and thats getting more and more popular. In the spring/summer its great to sit outside near the fountain of the Stonecrest party area.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant after reading several good reviews. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The food was positively vile. We ordered takeout or we would have sent every dish back to the kitchen. EVERYTHING was soaked in grease. The spring rolls shot grease out with every bite and tasted awful. The tangerine chicken was soggy and dripping with grease. The hot and sour soup had a layer of grease floating on the top and tasted spoiled. The shrimp fried rice was overloaded with onions, was greasy and the shrimp was so overcooked that they had turned to a pasty consistency. We paid an "upscale" amount of money for food that was practically inedible. We threw MOST of it away and what little we ate made us very sick! The only thing I would recommend about this restaurant is to stay away if you want to continue liking any type of Asian cuisine. My husband and I became so sick after eating this restaurant's food that we were unable to take it back to the restaurant to complain. The thought of eating any type of Asian food (by the way, we have always loved all types of Asian cuisine) makes us ill after this terrible experience.

I was very happy with the service & food. I used to be a fan of PF Changs, but it's gone down hill. I used to eat frequently at Changs in Chicago, but the one here in Charlotte doesn't compare. Jo Jo is much better. The fried rice was very good.

I thought this place would be a substitute for other upscale Chinese "bistro" restaurants. The atmosphere is colorful, bordering on loud. They try to mix traditional Asian atmosphere with something that can best be described as nouveau Dick Tracy. The walls are painted in various loud colors, the lighting is modern. Cleanliness was a concern, as at our booth, there were food blotches on the walls and visible greasy handprints higher up the walls. Oh yeah, the food! It was average. Service was above average, however - friendly and fast.
